How I Work

I assist people with decision making processes, I help calm and ground those that are distressed, and I both reassure and reaffirm the resiliency of my clients as they face their challenges.

I heavily emphasize freewill, choice, and how today's decisions and attitudes create tomorrow's future. I utilize tarot and numerology to bring those decisions and attitudes into focus, to increase awareness, and to help people rediscover their sense of personal power.

I'm compassionate and gentle with those that need nurturing, but also give "tough love" advice to those that need a push in the right direction. I'm a counselor to those that need to unpack their mental/emotional suitcases, a co-strategical planner for those that need a game plan, and a cheerleader/motivator for those that simply need a boost.

In every way that I can anticipate, I strive to make each session client-driven. I may be doing the analysis, but I assure you: you are the co-pilot of our time together, and the pace and flow of the session rests within your level of comfort.

The Flow of a Reading With Me

When you book a reading, you will be prompted to fill out a short intake form before your session. Why an intake form?

When you take a few extra moments to set your intentions before we begin, that’s precious time you gain back for the session itself. No reading session time is lost by my asking, “So what brings us together? Do you have any specific questions? What are you hoping to get out of this?” etc. Because you’ve already told me and set the tone for our time. You don’t need to give me your life story- all I need are some basic points to help me best structure our time together. In short, you are telling me upfront what you seek and need- this equates to you getting more time for your questions and more for your money. It’s that simple.

All my readings are done by WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Zoom. Once you have prepaid and scheduled through my online scheduler, you will receive confirmation and instructions to help you prepare for our session.

I am a firm believer in the importance of recording readings. Post-reading brain-haze is real. Therefore, I provide recording options for all my clients at no extra cost. For WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, I use home recording equipment and convert the session into an mp3. From there, I upload it into a shared folder hosted through www.box.com, and send a file share invite to the client to accept. For Zoom, I make the client the host of the meeting, and from there, they can click the “record” button and save directly to their own device.

If you don’t want your session recorded at first but later change your mind, that’s okay- simply notify me 24 hours in advance. If you don’t want your session recorded, I highly recommend keeping a notepad and pen handy. You may remember some of the details of our session immediately afterward, but once you wake up the next morning, you’ll probably find much of that memory has flown out the mental window. Be sure to jot down anything you want to remember.

Sessions most commonly open with a general layout, then touching on your numerological personal year (if you choose to disclose your birth information on the intake form). From there we move to your specific questions and concerns.

If you have difficulty finding the beating heart of your questions, or are unsure how to frame your questions, don't worry. I am happy to help find the right focus and phrasing for your concerns.

I will avoid asking leading questions. I will however check in with you regularly to ensure the information I'm presenting makes sense, and is applicable to you and your situation.

A few minutes before your session ends, I will notify you of the time so we can begin wrapping things up.

Thinking about booking a reading? Great!

Allow me to give you a few pointers and considerations to maximize the value of your tarot experience:

1. Be on time.

If you’re late, I still have to end your reading on time to keep the rest of my schedule on-track. Prioritize your session as crucial self-care. Your time is precious, as is mine. You deserve to get the full amount of time you paid for- don’t let anyone or anything else be a time thief.

2. Be fully present with me.

Tune out the distractions. Make sure the kids and pets are well-tended and carefully occupied. Put your phone on Do-Not-Disturb. The world can wait while you have some uninterrupted self-care time. I need you fully with me in order to perform your reading.

3. Be real with me.

I know, I know. I’m in a pretty off-beat profession, but playing “test the psychic” is a waste of both your valuable time and mine. I won’t play any games with you, and I ask for the same consideration. That being said, it’s perfectly okay for you to sit back and see what I come up with through my cards. Just be real with me, as I will be with you.

4. Have some idea about what you want from your reading: topics, questions, personal goals, etc.

It’s okay if you aren’t sure what you want to ask or talk about. But it’s far better if you at least know what topics you want to explore. Concise, focused questions usually yield concise, focused answers. Something to consider.

5. Free-will is my truth, and that’s how I roll.

You have choices. You have options. Everyone does. My job is to remind you of the choices and options you have at your disposal. I will not speak of your future in “fixed” or “fated” terms. That’s disempowering, and flies in opposition of my goals as a reader.

6. No reader, no matter how seasoned, can anticipate every single person’s free will-choices and how they might impact the unfolding of future events. It’s just not possible. We aren’t God. Keep your expectations reasonable.

Think of using tarot within the context of using a camera drone. Drones can capture absolutely incredible imagery with great detail and scope. The images they capture help us see our surroundings with dramatically improved perspective, yet even the best drone cannot capture the entire planet within it’s scope. Tarot and numerology yield pretty similar results.

7. If something I say doesn’t make sense at first, just file it away in your mind. Simply take note of it and see how it shows up later on.
